Past MSA Patients Talk about their Treatment in China

Voda Niculae, CANADA, 65 years old
As is the case with most patients, some days were harder for Voda than others. The intense treatment could be tiring. In the end though, Voda experienced some of the changes he was hoping for when he decided to come to China for treatment.

The main improvements for Voda were changes in his speech and dexterity. He was able to pronounce more of his words making it easier for him to communicate with his caregivers and tell them what he needed.

He was also able to get around better because his mobility had increased and his balance was better. This meant that moving in and out of chairs or his bed had become easier and that he could walk further without having to rely on his wheelchair. Getting to the bathroom and moving around at home was therefore made a lot easier.

Voda was also able to control his movements more, making it easier for him to get dressed, eat and do small things for himself. As he returned home, he and his family were optimistic about his progress and eager to continue working on achieving even better results in the near future.
